1'_ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH~
CITY OF ANAHEHi DENYING WITHOUT PREJUDICE
APPLICATION NO. F-58-59-1l8 FOR A CHANGE
OF ZONE IN A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
',fl:IERE:AS, the Ci ty Plann:l ng Commi s si on of the Ci ty of
Ana..l-J.eim has hereto.fore duly passed and adopted a resolution de-
claring its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described and did fix a time and
place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner
and as nre:;cribed in l\.rticle IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Hunici-
pal Cod" and did duly hold and conduct such public hearing to
consider said proposed change o~ zone or zones, and did receive
evidence and r-3ports from perso'1s interested therein; and
',ffiER:!;AS, within ct period of forty (40) days following
the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions
and reasons for recon~endlllg an ~mendment to said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim HunicJpal Code to effect the proposed
changes in the boundaries of the zone herein.after mentioned and
described; and
vfrll<~RSAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of tho City P19f4"'ling Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the 11th day of August., 1959 0.3 the time and the Council
Chamoer in the Ci ty Hall of the Gi ty of Anaheim as the place for
a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give
notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX,
Chapt.er 2 of the Anaheim Hun:i.cipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at t.he t.ime and place fixed for said public
hearing, the Cit;r Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearint:, and did give i~11 persons interested therein an opport-
unl ty to be heard a.nd did recei ve evidence aJ.1.d reports and did
thereupon. consi del' Ew recOlnmendations of the City Planning Com-
mission; and
'l.JHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
tr,e property and area proposed t.o be changed from the zone in which
it is now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set forth,

that application Ho. F-5S-59-Ui3 for a change of zone should be

now inoorporated, and that the reclassification to R-3, MULTIPLE-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE be denied without prejudice, to resubmit
