ORDINANCE NO. 3889
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REPEAL-
ING SECTION 18.03.091.060 OF TITLE 181
CHAPTER 18.03 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
AND ADDING A NEW SECTION IN ITS PLACE AND
STEAD RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1.
That Section 18.03.091.060 of Title 18, .Chapter 18.03
of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, repealed.
SECTION 2.
That new Section 18.03.091.060 be, and the same is hereby,
added to Title 18, Chapter 18.03 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to
read as follows:
".060 Notwithstanding the provisions of this
section and/or subsections, the Planning Commission
and/or City Council may grant a conditional use per-
mit or variance for a specific period of time. When
a conditional use permit or a variance is granted by
the Planning Commission and/or the City Council for
a period of time, it shall terminate automatically
upon the running of said time period and be of no
further force and effect unless the time period shall
have been extended by the body which granted final
approval thereof. Nothing contained herein shall be
deemed to preclude the approving body from granting
any such extension at any time after the expiration
of the original time period, or at any time after
the expiration of any prior extension of time."
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to. the passage of this or-
dinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen
(15) days -after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper
of general circulation,.printed, published and circulated in said
City, and thirty (3.0) days from and after its final passage, it
shall take effect and be in full force.
