18.34, TITLE 189 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING T0. ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
'SECTION 1.
That .Sections 18.02..052..040 .of Chapter 18.02;
18.22.050..030 .of Chapter 18.22; 18.23.050.020 of Chapter 18.23;
18.24.050.:020.of Chapter 18.24; 18.25.050..020 of Chapter 18.25;
18.26.05.0.020 of Chapter 18.26; 18'.27.05.0.020 of Chapter 18.27;
18.31.05.0.02.0 of Chapter 18.31; 18.32.050.020.of Chapter 18.32;
and 18.34.050.030.of Chapter 18.34, Title 18, of theAnaheim
Municipal Code be, and the .same are hereby., -repealed.
SECTION 2.
That new Section 18.02.052.040 be, and the same is
hereby, added to Chapter 18.02. of Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to read as follows:
".040. Home occupations, as defined in Section
18.01.090 hereof, provided said home occupations
comply with the following:
.04.1 No persons other than members of the.
resident family shall engage in the home occupation.

.042 No sales of products on the .premises
shall be permitted.
.043 No significant increase in pedestrian
or vehicular traffic shall bei. -generated by the home .
r--, occupation. (For purposes hereof, more than six (6)
total vehicles or eight (8) total patrons per day
relating to the home occupation shall be -conclusive-
ly deemed a significant increase in traffic.)
.044 No commercial vehicles shall be used
for delivery of home occupation -related materials
to or from the .premises.
.045 No outdoor storage of materials and/or
supplies. or other outdoor activity related to the
home occupation shall be. permitted.
.046 No exterior aspect of the residential
structure shall allow the home occupation to be
reasonably recognized as 'a nonresidential use.
.047 No noise,. odor, dust, vibration, fumes
or smoke caused by. a home .occupation shall be
readily discernible at the lot boundaries.
.04.8 No home occupation shall cause an
electrical disturbance that shall adversely affect
the property of another person.
.049 Applicant shall obtain a City business
license .for said occupation and shall register said
home occupation with the City Planning Department
on forms provided for such purpose.
.05-0. Violation of any of the .provisions of
Subsections .041 through .049 hereof shall constitute
a misdemeanor and shall be punishable as set forth in
Section 1.01.370 of the Anaheim Municipal Code."
SECTION 3.
That new Sections 18.21.050.105 of Chapter 18.21;
18.22.050.030 of Chapter 18.22; 18.23.050.02.0 of Chapter 18.23;
18.24.050.020. of Chapter 18.24; 18.25.050..020 of Chapter 18.25;
18.26.050.020.of Chapter 18.26; 18'.27.050..020 of Chapter 18.27;
18.31.050..020 of Chapter 18.31; 18.32.050..020 of Chapter 18.32;.
and 18.34.050.030.of Chapter. 18.34, be, and the same .are hereby,
added to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to -read as
follows:
"Child nurseries or day care centers involving
more than six (6) children."

SECTION 4.
That new Sections 18.21.030.035 of Chapter 18.21;
18.22.030.035 of Chapter 18.22; 18.23.030.035 of Chapter 18.23;
18.24.030.035 of Chapter 18.214; 18.25.030.025 of Chapter 18.25;
18.26.030.035 of Chapter 18.26; 18.27.030.025 of Chapter 18.27;
18.31.030.025 of Chapter 18.31; 18.32.030.025 of Chapter 18.32;
and 18.34.030.025 of Chapter 18.34 be, and the same are hereby,
added to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to read as
follows:
"Child nurseries or day care centers providing
care to a cumulative total of not more than six
(6) children per each twenty-four hour period."
SECTION 5.
SEVERABILITY. The City Council of the City of Anaheim
hereby declares that should any section, paragraph, sentence or
word of this chapter of the Code hereby adopted be declared for
any reason to be invalid, it is the intent of the Council that
it would have passed all other portions of this chapter
independent of the elimination herefrom of any such portion as
may be declared invalid.
SECTION 6.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed -once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
