AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REPEALING
SECTION 18.41.062.011 OF TITLE 18, CHAPTER 18.41,
SECTION 18.44.062.011 OF TITLE 18, CHAPTER 18 449
AND SECTION 18.48.062.011 OF TITLE 18, CHAPTER
18.48 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE AND ADDING
NEW SECTIONS IN THEIR PLACE AND STEAD RELATING TO
ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE.CITY. OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:'
SECTION 1.
That Section 18.41.06.2.011 of Title 18, Chapter
18.41, Section 18.44.062.011 of Title 18, Chapter. 18.44,
Section 18.48.062.011 of Title 18, Chapter 18.48 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same are hereby, repealed.
SECTION 2.
That new Section 18.41.062.011 be, and the same is
hereby., added to Title .18, Chapter 18.41 .of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, to read as follows:-..
".011 The height of any building or structure
within three hundred (3.00) feet of any single-family
residential zone boundary (other than property under
a resolution of intent to any commercial or multiple -
family -zone)' shall not exceed one-half (1/2) the
distance from the building -or structure to. such zone
boundary. Dedicated streets or alleys shall be
included in calculating.distance."
SECTION 3.
That new Section 18.44.06.2.011 be, and the same is
hereby, added -to -Title 18, Chapter 18.44 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, to read as follows.: -
11.011 The height of any building or structure .
within one hundred fifty (150); feet of any single.
family residential zone boundary (other -than property
under a -resolution of intent to any commercial or
-- multiple -family zone) shall -not .excee.d one-half the
distance from -the building or structure .to -such zone
boundary. Dedicated streets. or alleys shall be.'
included in calculating distance.."

SECTION 4.
That new Section 18.48.062.011be, and the .same
is hereby, added to Title 18, Chapter 18.48 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, to read as follows:
".011 The height of any building or structure

family residential zone boundary (other than property
under a resolution of intent to any commercial or
multiple -family zone) shall not .exceed one-half (1/2).
the .distance from said building .or .structure .to the
to the -zone boundary. Dedicated streets. and alleys

-SECTION 5.
SEVERABILITY. The City Council of the City of Anaheim
hereby declares that should any section, paragraph,' sentence or
word of this chapter of the Code hereby adopted be declared for
any reason to be invalid, it is the intent -.of the .Council that
it would have passed all other portions of this chapter
independent of the elimination herefrom of any such portion as
may be declared invalid.
SECTION 6.
The .City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption -in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (3.0) days from and after
its final passage, it -shall take effect and be in full force.
