All ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEI 1 AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE AND A.HEII4 MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND TFAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution No.
543 -Series 1962-63 determining that a change or changes in the
zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described should ba made
as hereinafter set forth, after duly noticed hearings and receipt
of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones, which conditions have been complied. with.
NOWF THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AIP BI24
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOUS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Godo relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title .l8 by adopting a
sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes as
follows:
Lots 22 and 23 in Tract No. 483, La Palma Gardens,
as shown on a map recorded in Book 17, page 20 of
Miscellaneous Maps records of Orange County,
now is "RS -A-43,000" RESIDENTIAL/AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be
changed to and incorporated in "CL" COiMERCIAL, LIMITED ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible to
trash -truck pickup, shall be provided'as determined and required
by the Street Maintenance and Sanitation Division of the Public
Works Department, which areas shall be enclosed by a solid fence
or wall prior to final building inspection.
2. That subject property shall be developed in accordance
with plans approved by the City Council incorporating the removal
of the residential structures, if any, and replacement with com-
mercial buildings, in accordance with all applicable provisions
contained herein and all applicable provisions contained in Title
18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code.

3. That a sixty (60) foot building setback from the planned
highway right-of-way line of La Palma Avenue shall be established
for subject property.
4. That tree wells shall be provided in the parkway portion
of La Palma Avenue, spaced at approximately forty (40) foot inter-
vals; that plans for said landscaping shall be submitted to and
approved by the Superintendent of Parkway Maintenance, and that
said landscaping shall be installed prior to final building in-
spection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall -be, and the same is hereby,
amended and the property above-described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made
a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City
Zoning Map, as amended, is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
culated in said City, and thirty (3.0) days from and after its
final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 31st day of January
1978.
