RESOLUTION NO. ~192
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes ; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I'r RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of CARMEN SCALZO and MARY ELIZABETH

situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for road and public utilitr purposes ,
and more particularly described as fo lows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Westerly 60 feet (as measured at
right angles to the centerline of Harbor Boulevard) of
the North 75 feet of that parcel of land located in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the West line of the SEt of
Section 22, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino
Base & Meridian, said point being located 639.26 feet
South, 0014'30" East from the Center of said Section 22,
said center point being the intersection of the centerline
of Cerritos Avenue from the West with the North and South
quarter Section line of said Section 22, running thence
North 89055'30" East 660.75 feet to a one-inch iron pipe
as shown on a map filed in Book 15, Page 4, Record of
Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange
County; thence South 0014'45" East 165.00 feet along the
Southerly extension of and the East line of the Northwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter
of said Section 22; thence South 89055' Jon West 660.77
feet to a point in the West line of the SEt of Section 22;
thence North 0014'30" West 165 feet to the point of begin-
ning. .

City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar ($I.OO).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
