RESOLUTION NO. 5364
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
ENTER INTO A LEASE FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM WITH ORANGE COUNTY WATER DISTRICT FOR
THE LEASING OF CERTAIN PREMISES FROM SAID WATER
DISTRICT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO WATER WELLS
AND APPURTENANT BUILDINGS.
WHEREAS, the Orange County Water District is the owner
of the hereinafter described property; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to lease said pro-
perty for municipal purposes, to wit, the construction of water
wells and such buildings or other improvements as may be necessary
to the operation thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Water District has offered to
lease said property to the City, and has submitted a form of lease
to be made and entered into by the City and said Water District as
of July 8, 1959 for the leasing of said property for the construc-
tion of water wells and such buildings or other improvements as
may be necessary for the use authorized in said lease, for a term
of 50 years, commencing July 8, 1959 and ending July 7, 2009, upon
the terms and condition set forth in said lease; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the terms of said
lease are fair and reasonable and that it would be to the advantage
and for the best interest of the City of Anaheim to enter into said
lease, and that the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the lease tendered to the City of Anaheim by
Orange County Water District and this day submitted to the City
Council, to be executed by the Orange County Water District as
lessor and the City of Anaheim as lessee, for the leasing of the
following described property:
That certain real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, des-
cribed as follows:
A square parcel of land, 100 feet on each side, the
west boundary of said parcel being 451 feet east of,
and parallel to, the west line of Lot 1, Block K of
the Kraemer Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded
in Book 12, pages 87 and 88, Miscellaneous Records of
Los Angeles County, California, and the north boundary
of said parcel being 110 feet north of, and parallel
to, the south line of said Lot 1, Block K, Kraemer
Tract.
(Note: The south line of Lot 1, Block K, Kraemer Tract,
is considered to be the north line of a 40 f60t right
of way for Anaheim Road.)

to the City to be improved with not more than two water wells, and
such buildings or other improvements as shall be necessary to the
use authorized in the lease, subject to the terms and conditions
set forth in said lease, for a period of 50 years, commencing July
8, 1959 and ending July 7, 2009, be and the same is hereby app~oved.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
lease for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
