A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of WILLIAM D. GRESCHNER and
ELOISE W. GRESCHNER, his wife, as joint tenants, as to an undivided
one -third interest; ROBERT F. BUCHHEIM and MARION K. BUCHHEIM, his
wife, as joint tenants, as to an undivided one -third interest; and
HENRY STEINBRINK and ROSA C. E. STEINBRINK, his wife, as joint ten-
ants, as to an undivided one -third interest, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for
an easement for road and public utility purposes, and more particularly
described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of the Southeast quarter of the South-
west quarter of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in
the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as per Map recorded in
Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Lincoln Avenue and
Loara Street, said intersection also being, for the purpose of
this description, the Southwest corner of the Southeast quarter
of the Southwest quarter of Section 9, Township 4 South Range
10 West; thence North 0 44' 50" West along the centerline of
said Loara Street, a distance of 429.83 feet to the construction
centerline of Manchester Avenue, as established by State Highway
right of way and construction plans VII ORA 174 A, ANA,
thence South 77 57' 31" East along said centerline, a distance
of 170.31 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southerly
and having a radius of 955.00 feet; thence Southeasterly along
said curve through a central angle of 3 09' 02" an arc distance
of 52.51 feet; thence North 0 44' 50" West a distance of 46.71
feet to a point in the centerline of said Manchester Avenue, said
point being in a curve concave Southerly and having a radius of
1000 feet, a radial line bearing North 14 27' 25" East passes
through said point; thence Westerly along a portion of said curve
through a central angle of 2 24' 56" an .arc distance of 42.16
feet; thence North 77 57' 31" West tangent to said curve along
the centerline of said Manchester Avenue a distance of 180.52
feet to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 25th day of October 19 66
