RESOLUTION NO. 5344

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
munioipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purPoses ; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property hare offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Counoil of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to aooept said offer and purohase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of EARL SIN~LETON and EVALYN E.

situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,

and more particu arly described as 0 lows::
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 60 feet of that portion
of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of
Section 19, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.& M.,
described as follows:

Beginning at the Southeast corner of land described as
Parcell in deed to Hugo R. Hille and wife, recorded
March 27, 1951 in book 2164, page 356 of Official Records,
said point being on the East line of said Section 19 and
distant South 0027'00" West 400.00 feet from the North-
east corner of said Section 19; thence South 89054'40"
West parallel with the Northerly line of said Section 19,
a distance of 175.00 feet; thence South 0027'00"West 100.00
feet to the Northwest corner of land described as Parcel 1
in deed to Leehman H. Vaughan and wife, recorded March 26,
1951 in Book 2164, page 13 of Official Records; thence
No-rth 89054'40" East 175.00 feet along the Northerly line
of said land of Leehman H. Vaughan to the Easterly line
of said Section 19; thence North 0027'00" East 100.00 feet
to the point of beginning.

City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
