A RESOLUTION ot THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DENYING VARIANCE NO. 1121.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
did receive a petition for zoning variance from H&Rnr~ nT~VD~ and
JUI.LD OI.pJIDER. t!:urChasers. of certain real property
iTtii'ted in the ity of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows ~
Lot 1 of Tract No. 1721, as per map recorded in
Book 50, Pages 37, 38 and 39 of Miscellaneous Haps,
in the office of the County Recorder of said Ceunty.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public
heariag at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on J~ 2 ,
19 ~9 , notices of which said public hearing were du y given as re-
quire. by law and the provisions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission~ after due inspection,
investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after
due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
did adopt Resolution No. ?ld. Series 19S8-S9 den.vina: Variance
IOa 1121 , and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the date of
the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the
City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the action of the City
Planning Commission denYina: said variance, and said appeal was
set for public hearing on July 7 , 1959 , at 7:00
o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of
such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the prOVi-
sions of Section 9200017 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and
WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by itself
and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and
reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find and de-
termine that~

I. There is no substantial property right possessed by
other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied
the subject property. .
20 It appears that the subject property can be adequately
developed and used under the present zone.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission denying
Petition tor Varianoe No. 1121, requesting permission to operate a one-
,~ operator beauty shop with living quarters on the property hereinabove
desoribed, be sustained, and that Variance No. 1121 be, and the same
is hereby, denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
