RESOLUTION NO. 5301
A R.r:.SOLUTION OF' THE CI'fY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN INDENTURE
GF.ANTING TO THE CITY O.!" ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY POR NUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
'WHEREAS, the City or Anaheim is desirous or purchas-
ing the hereinarter described real property ror municipal pur-
poses; and
'WHEREAS, said real property was duly sold and COIl-
veyed to the State of California ror non-payment or taxes in
accordance with law; and
NHEREAS, in conrormity with the provisions or Divi-
sion 1, Part 6, Chapter 8, Article 2 of the Revenue and Taxa-
tion Code or the State or Calirornia, by agreement therein
authorized, the Tax Collector or the County or Orange agreed
to sell to the City of Anaheim said real property hereinarter
described; and
WHEREAS, no taxing agency objected to the sale; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it is for
the benerit and best interest of the City or Anaheim to accept
the orrer to sell said real property and purchase the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
or the City or Anaheim that that certain indenture dated May
22, 1959, and this day submitted to the City Council, granting
to the City or Anaheim the rollowing described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County or Orange, State or
Calirornia:
Lot 21 in Shaffer and Oswald Subdivision,
as per map thereof recorded in Book 7,
Page 41 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California,
be and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHEE RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to Don
S. Mozley, Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of
California, the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).
