A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
62R -335 IN RECLASSIFICATION PROCEEDINGS
NO. 61- 62 -69.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit, on
April 10, 1962, adopt Resolution No. 62R -335 in Reclassifica-
tion Proceedings No. 61 -62 -69 finding and determining that the
property and area therein described, being the area known as
the Northeast Industrial Area, should be changed from R -A,
RESIDENTIAL- AGRICULTURAL ZONE, to M -1, LIGHT- MANUFACTURING
ZONE and P -L, PARKING LANDSCAPING ZONE (with the exception of
those properties already zoned M -1 and P -L), subject to certain
conditions set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, since the adoption of said resolution, site
development standards have been adopted by the City of Anaheim
for M -1 and M -2 Zones providing for setbacks and landscaping
adjacent to arterial streets and highways within the industrial
areas in the City of Anaheim, and the P -L, Parking- Landscaping
Zone is, therefore, no longer necessary; and
WHEREAS, certain "Findings of Fact" were enumerated
in said Resolution No. 62R -335, and the City Council finds
that Findings numbered 1, 2 and 3 of said "Findings of Fact,"
referring to the general boundaries of the industrial area,
should be amended and the descriptions in said findings made
more specific; and that Findings numbered 5 and 6 should be
amended by deleting the words "P -L, PARKING- LANDSCAPING ZONE"
and inserting in lieu thereof the words "M -1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
ZONE"; and
WHEREAS, the names of certain streets in said North-
east Industrial Area have been changed since the adoption of
said resolution; i.e.,
Anaheim Road to Miraloma Avenue;
Placentia -Yorba Boulevard to Crowther Avenue; and
Los Angeles Street to Anaheim Boulevard,
and the City Council finds that wherever the old street names
appear in the legal description of the property contained in
said resolution, the new street names should be substituted
therefor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 62R -335 in Reclassi-
fications Proceedings No. 61 -62 -69 be, and the same is hereby
amended as follows:
(1) That all of the property and area described in said
Resolution No. 62R -335 shall be excluded from the
R -A, Agricultural Zone and incorporated in the
M -1, Light Industrial Zone (with the exception of
those properties already zoned M -1).

(2) That "Findings of Fact" numbered 1, 2 and 3 shall
be amended to read as follows:
"1. That the City should establish the easterly
right of way line of Route 19, the Orange
Freeway right of way, as the westerly boundary
and the northerly right of way line of the
Riverside Freeway as the southerly boundary
of the Northeast Industrial Area.
That the entire area delimited by the southerly
right of way line of Orangethorpe Avenue and
Crowther Avenue (formerly Placentia -Yorba Blvd.)
on the north, the northerly right of way line
of the Riverside Freeway and the northerly
boundary of the Santa Ana River on the south,
the easterly right of way line of the Orange
Freeway right of way on the west, and the
westerly right of way line of the Imperial
Freeway right of way on the east should be
designated for industrial use on the Anaheim
General Plan.
"3. That the entire area delimited by the southerly
right of way line of Ball Road on the north,
the easterly and northeasterly right of way
lines of Anaheim Boulevard (formerly Los Angeles
Street) and the Santa Ana Freeway on the west,
and the southwest, and the westerly boundary
line of the Santa Ana River on the east should
be designated for industrial use on the Anaheim
General Plan.
and that the words "P -L, PARKING LANDSCAPING ZONE"
shall be deleted from Findings Nos. 5 and 6, and the
words "M -1, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE" shall be inserted
in lieu thereof.
(3) That wherever the old street names of Anaheim Road,
Placentia -Yorba Boulevard and Los Angeles Street
appear in the legal description of the property
contained in said resolution, the new street names
shall be inserted in place thereof; that is
Miraloma Avenue in place of Anaheim Road;
Crowther Avenue in place of Placentia -Yorba Boulevard;
and Anaheim Boulevard in place of Los Angeles Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects
said Resolution No. 62R -335 be, and remain in full force and
effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 27th day of September, 1966.
