AN'ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 4042,. NUNC PRO TUNC, RELATING
TO FIXING AND LEVYING A PROPERTY TAX ON ALL
PROPERTY WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1979=80..
WHEREAS, Ordinance'No. 4042 was adopted by the City
Council on August -28, 1979;,and
WHEREAS, through'inadvertence'and clerical error, the
Ad Valorem tax rate for Fiscal Year: 1979-80 was improperly stated;
and
WHEREAS, the'City.Council. declares its intention to
correct said clerical error, nunc pro .tunc.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.
That said Ordinance No. 4042.be,' and the same is hereby,
amended, nunc pro tunc,' to read as -follows: -
"That -there be,' and hereby is,- fixed and levied a
property tax for the fiscal year 1979-80..of Nine'and Five -
Tenths Cents. -($.0 ..09.5) on each ''One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property
within the' -corporate limits of the City -of Anaheim, for the
purpose of paying -the annual -interest on bonds -and such part
of the principal as will become.'due before the proceeds -of
the next. .general tax levy will be available.'
'SECTI:ON .2.
In all other conditions and respects Ordinance No. 4042
shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage'of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen..(15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed; published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) dayys from and after
its final passage It shall take effect and be'in full force.
