RESOLUTION NO. 5250
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AFPHOVING 'I'BE "LIVE BE'l'TER
ELECTRICALLY MEDALLION HOME AGREEMENT" AS 'fO
FOPl1, AND AUTlIORIZING 'l'HE U'1.'ILITIES DIRECTOR
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM TO ENTER INTO SAID
AGREEMENTS WITH MEDALLION HOME BUILDERS.
WHEPEAS, the City of Anaheim is engaged in the busi-
ness of selling and distributing electrical energy to consumers
inside the City; and
Wr~REAS, the City Council finds that it would be to
the advantage and for the best interest of the City and the
citizens and residents thereof to carryon a local Live Better
Electrically Medallion Home campaign designed to stimulate
interest in the Medallion Home concept, in cooperation with
the national Medallion Home campaign of Live Better Electrically
and the electrical industry generally; and
WHEREAS, there has this day been submitted to the City
Council a form of agreement entitled, "Live Better Electrically
Medallion Home," to be made and entered into between the City
of Anaheim, Utilities Division, and the builders of Medallion
Homes, which agreement the City Council finds is in a form
satisfactory to the City and should be approved, and the Utilities
Director of the City of Anaheim authorized to enter into such
agreement with the builders of said Medallion Homes;,
NOi-J, l'HEHEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci 1
of the City of Anaheim that the form of agreement this day
submitted to the City Council entitled, "Live Better Electri-
cally Medallion Home," to be made and entered into by and between
the City of Anaheim, Utilities Division, and the builders of
Medallion Homes, a copy of which agreement is on file in the
Office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, be, and the
same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Utilities Director
of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby authorized to
execute said agreements for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 26th day of May, 1959.
