RESOLUTION NO. 5215
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR, AND
DIRECTING THE ACQUISITION BY EMINENT DOMAIN
OF, REALPRQPERTY FOR. RIGHT OF WAY FOR PUBLIC
UTILITY, SEWER LINE, STREET WIDENING AND STORM
DRAIN FURroSES.
WHEREAS, public convenience and necessity require the
acquisition, improvement and maintenance of certain real property
within the City of Anaheim for the following purposes. to wit:
for right of way for public utility, sewer line, street widening
and storm drain purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
public interest and necessity require the acquisition of all
that certain real property herein described by the City of Anaheim
for the improvement and maintenance for right of way for publiC
utility, sewer line, street widening and storm drain purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that public interest and necessity require
the acquisition of that certain real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, more
particularly described as follows, to wit:
PARCEL 1:
The Southerly 11 feet of Lot 1 of the Gresswell Sub-
division, as shown on a map recorded in Book 6. Page
47 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
Cal ifornia.
PARCEL 2:
The Southerly 11 feet of Lot 4 of the Gresswell Sub-
division, as shown on a map recorded in Book 6, Page
47 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California.
PARCEL 3:
The Southerly 11 feet of Lot 5 of the Gresswell Sub-
division, as shown on a map recorded in Book 6, Page
47 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California.
PARCEL.!1:
The Southerly 11 feet of Lot 6 of the Gresswell Sub-
division, as shown on a map recorded in Book 6, Page
47 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
Cal Hornia.

PARCEL 5:
The Southerly 12 feet of the following described
property:
Beginning at a point on the North line of East La Palma
Avenue, which point being 30.00 feet Northerly of the
center line of said East La Palma Avenue, and 406.87 feet

Easterly measured along said North line from the center
line of North Olive Street; thence Easterly along said
North line of East La Palma Avenue, a distance of 190.00
feet; thence Northerly along a line parallel with the
said center line of North Olive Street, a distance of
240.00 feet; thence Westerly along a line parallel with
the said North line of East La Palma Avenue, a distance
of 190.00 feet; thence Southerly 240.00 feet to the
point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
find and determine that public interest and necessity require the
acquisition of said land by the City of Anaheim for the improve-
ment and maintenance of the aforesaid project, and that the taking
of the property hereinabove described is necessary therefor, and
that the uses to which it is to be applied are useS authorized by
law, and the taking of said property is necessary to such uses.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED that said
property be acquired by the City of Anaheim, and the City Attorney
of the City of Anaheim is hereby directed to institute an action
in eminent domain for the acquisition of the title to said property,
and to perform and carry out all of the necessary proceedings and
steps incident to the acquisition of the title to said property
and to obtaining possession thereof.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of May, 1959.
