QPISITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR ~rrn~ICI-
PAL PURFOSES.
i'/HEREAS. Teruko Ohara, a married .ronan. as her sole and separate
property. is the owner of the hereinafter described real property situated in
the City of Anaheim. County of Orange. State of California; and
WHEREAS. se.id owner has offered to sell said property to the
City of Anaheim for the sum of Twenty-two Thousand Eighty-three and 33/100
Dollars ($22,083.33) cash. lawful money of the United States; and
i~. the City Council does find and determine that public
convenience and necessit;r require the purchase and acquisition of said parcel
of real property for municipal purposes, and that the price which the owner
thereof is willing to accept is reasonable and not out of proportion to the
fair market value of said property;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the offer of Teruko Ohara. a married woman, as her sole and
separate property. to sell said property. situated in the City of Anaheim.
County of Orange. State of California. described as follows. to witl
The west one-half of the east 20 acres of the North-
west quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 7.
Township 4 South. Range 10 West. S.B.B. & M.. in the
Rancho Los Coyotes. County of OranGe. State of Calif-
ornia.
EXCEPTING therefrom the northerly 766.00 feet.
for the sum of ~lenty-two Thousand Eighty-three and 33/100 Dollars ($22.083.33)
cash. lawful money of the United States. be. and the same is hereby. accepted
subject to the following terms ane," conditions:
Tha.t subject property shall 'be conveyed. to the City
of Anaheim free and clear of all encumbrances except
the second installment of taxes. and general and
special taxes for the fiscal year 1958-59. and taxes
which are not yet due. including special district
levies. p~~nent of which is included therein and
collected therewith; and all covenants. conditions.
restrictions. reservations. rigpts. rights-of-way
and easements of record.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City ~~er of the City of
Anaheim oe. and he is hereby. authorized for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim to sign escrow instructions for the purchase of said real property
and to enter into an escrow with the o.mer of said property at Home Savings
and Loan Association. 211 East Center Street. J.naheim. California.

MID BE IT FURTEER RESOLVED that the City Auditor be. and he
is hereby. a:uthorizec1. to deposit in escrow at said Home Savings and Loan
Association Twenty-two Thousand Eighty-three and 3J/IOO Dollars ($23.083.33)
cash. lavlfuJ. money of the United States. to be paid to the ov/ner of said
real })roperty .lhen e deed conveying said property to the City of Anaheim free
and clear of all encumbr2~ces. except as hereinabove set forth. can be re-
corded and a policy of title insurance issued by Orange County Title Company.
Santa Ana. California., showing said property vested in the City of Anaheim

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the seller shall pay the
usual and customary seller's charges for furnishing a policy of title in-
surance necessary to show title vested in the City of Anaheim. as herein
provided, ana. that the City of Anaheim shall pay the usual buyerls charges
in the purchase of said property.
