CITY OF .AJlAHEIM TO REVIEW AIm AUDIT THE CITY OF
AJlAHEIM SALES TAX RECORDS OF THE STATE BOARD OF
EQUALIZATIOlf, TO DETERMINE THE ADEQUACY OF
MONEYS DISTRIBUTED BY THE STATE BOARD OF EQUALI-
ZATlOPl TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM. FOR THE CALENDAR
YEAR 1958.
WHEREAS, all sales taxes upon sales within the City
of Anaheim are made and reported to the State Board of Equali-
zation of the State of California and the amount thereof
distriButed to the City of Anaheim, less the cost of collection;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find and ietermine that it would be to the advantage and for the
best interest of the City of Anaheim to review and audit the
aales tax records of the State Board of Equalization relating
to sales within the City of Anaheim for the year 1958; and .
-----WEREAS,the City Council does find that John Woodstra,
the Accouating Officer of the Finance Department of the City of
Anaheim ia a proper person to be authorized to make such review
and audit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of AnaheiM that John Woodstra, .City Accounting Officer
of the City Finance Department be, and he is hereby, authorized
and directed to review and audit the City of Anaheim Sales Tax
Records of the State Board of Equalization to determine the.
accuracy thereof relating to moneys distributed by the State
Board of Equalization to the City of Anaheim for the calendar
year 1958.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said John Woodstra be, ariti
he is hereby, authorized to proceed to Sacramento for taid
purpose and that his travel and subsistence expenses be ,paid as
a City charge.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 1st day of April, 1959.
