A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~ CITY
OF AHAHEIM FIllDInG AIm DETERMINING THAT A
CEIANGE OF ZOliE SHOULD HOT BE GRANTED III A
CERTAur .AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAF1'ER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS. the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
did heretofore fix a time and place for the holding of a public hearing upon
a proposed change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned
and described in the ~Der and as prescribed in Article IX. Chapter 2 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code. and did duly hold and conduct such public hearing to
consider said proposed change of zone or zones. and did receive evidence and
reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of fortu (40) days following the hearing
thereon. the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its
findings of facts and did refer the matter of said proposed change of zone or
zones to the City Council without recommendation; and
v~f.AS, upon receipt of the report of the City Planning Com-
mission. the City Council did thereupon fix the 17th day of March. 1959. as
the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as
the place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or zones.
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX.
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS. at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing and did give all
persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence
and reports, and did continue said he~xing to a later date; and
WHEREAS. the City Council does find and determine that the proper-
ty and area proposed to be changed from the zone in Which it is now situated
to a different zone or zones, as hereinafter set forth. is more suitable for
the zone in which it is now incorporated. and that a change of zone should not
be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City of Anaheim.
County of Orange. State of California. described as follows~ to witt
The north 425 feet of the west half of the northwest
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 12, in
Township 4 South. Range 11 'Ivest. in the Rancho Los
Coyotes. as sho~m on a map thereof recorded in book 51,
page 7. et seq.. Miscellaneous Maps. records of said
Orange County.
EXCEPT the westerly JlO feet thereof.
remain in R-A. RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE. in which it is now incorporated.
and that the reclassificati.on to 0-1. 11EIGHllORHOOD-COM:f.lERCIAL ZONE and B.-J.
MlT.LTIPLE-FAlULY RESIDE1TTIAL ZONE. be denied.
