59R-5106 -- ---~" RESOLUTION NO. 5106 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO THE COM- MENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEX- ATION OF INHABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM. Petera. have filed with the City Council a written request, requesting the consent of the City Council of the City of Anaheim to the commencement of proceedings for the annexation of the herein- after described territory to the City of Anaheim, and stating that said territory is inhabited territory and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that it would be to the advantage and benefit of the City of Anaheim and to the qualified electors residing within said territory to permit the above named proponents to commence proceedings for the annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim, upon the conditions hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, said request has been referred to the City Planning Commission and its report and recommendations received recommending the granting of consent to commence proceedings for annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the consent of the City Council be, and it is hereby given to said proponents to commence proceedings for the annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the City of Anaheim, upon the following conditions: First: That the proposal for annexation of said terri- tory to the City of Anaheim shall be submitted to and reported upon to the proponents by the Boundary Commission of the County of Orange, with respect to the definiteness and certainty of proposod boundaries. -"*..-.... Second: That no petition be oirculated tor the annexa- tion of said territory until after notioe of intention to oirou- late such petition has been published as required by law, and a CODY of suoh notice and an affidavit of publioation has been fiJ.ed with the City Clerk of '!he City of Anaheim within ten (10) days after the date of publication of said notice, and a resolu- tion has been adopted by the City Council of the City of Anahetm acknowledging reoeipt of said notice and approving the ciroula- tion of said petition. Third: That the oiroulation of any petition for the annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim Shall not be commenced until twenty-one (21) days after the publioation of said notice of intention to c iroulate the same. The boundaries ~f the territory for which prooeedings are proposed to be commenced for the annexation thereof to the City of Anaheim are described as follows: -1- .- ~J"""""". -, KATELLA PARK ANNEXATION A parcel of land being a portion of Sections 19 and 30 of Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S. B. B. & M., described as follows: Beginning at an angle point in the existing Anaheim City Limits line as established by the Midwood Manor Annexation to the City of Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No.1 164 on August 13, 1957, and fi led with the Secretary of State, September 16, 1957, said point being 40 feet west of the east line and 30 feet south of the north line of said Section 30, said point also being in the Garden Grove City limits line; thence, 1. Westerly along said Garden Grove City limits line to the point of intersection with the southerly prolongation of the east line of Tract No. 2111 as shown on a map in Book 61, Pages 46,47, and 48 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, State of California; thence, 2 Northerly along said southerly prolongation and east line of said Tract No. 2111 to the point of intersection with the south line of the Nt of the S~ of the SE~ of said Section 19; thence, 3. Easterly along the last mentioned south line to the point of intersection with the existing City limits line of the City of Anaheim; thence, 4.
