A :BESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT! OF

fEE ANAHEIM UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISfRICT AND TEE
ANABEIM CITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DIS5ICT. !O :BE
TOTED MARCH 24, 1959.
WHEREAS. studies of existing facilities and future requirements
of the Anaheim School Districts indicate that the facilities for school
education in the Anaheim School Districts are pre.entl~ utilized to the
fullest po.sible extent and are barely adequate to handle the present
.tudent requirements and will be grossl~ inadequate for student require-
ments in the immediate future; and
~~$. in order to provide aduquate facilities for student
requirements in the Anaheim School Districts in the immediate future and
for the next seTeral ~ears. major capital expenditures for 1&D4 acquisition
and new school construction will be necessary; and
WRw.R~A~. the City Council of the Cit~ of Anaheim. after inves-
tigation of the proposed bond election of the .Anaheim School Districts.
determines that such election is designed to meet the immediate and
essential future projected needs of the Anaheim School Districts r facili-
ties; and
TIml!RlIl'~. the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
the proposed election of the Anaheim School Districts is for the best
interests of the citizens of the City of Anaheim and in the interests of
the public welfare;
NOW. THEREFORE, :BE IT :BESOLTED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim hereby endorses the School :Bond
Blection of the Anaheim Union High School District and the Anaheim Oity
B1ementary School District. to be voted March 24. 1959. and urges all
members and citizens of Anaheim to support the School :Bond Election by
TOting "Yes" on Tuesd~. March 24. 1959.
