OF .ANAHEIM FINDING .AND JE'l!ERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GWiTED IH A
aElRTAIN AREA OF THE CITY liEREINAFTEE DESCRIBED.
~R~S, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted. a resolution recommending denial of
a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described, after having fixed a time and. place for the holding of a public
hearing thereon in the manner and. as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2
of the Anaheim Municipal Cod.e, and after having duly held and conducted such
public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and after
having received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the hearing
thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its
findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommend.ing a
denial of said proposed. change in the boundaries of the zone or zones here-
inafter mentioned and. described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the
City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 17th day
of March, 1959 as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the
City of Anaheim as tbe place for a public hearing upon said proposed change
of zone and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Article lX. Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed. for said public hearing.
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and. did give
all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive
evidence and. reports and. did. thereupon consider the recommendation of the
City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and. d.etermine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it is now
situated to a different zone or zones, as hereinafter set forth, is more
suitable for the zone in which it is now incorporated and that a change of
zone should not be granted;
NOW, ~~WORE. liB IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City of Anaheim.
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
~at portion of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of Section 20, Township 4 South, Range 10 West.
partly in the Rs.ncho Los Coyotes and partly in the Rancho
Las Bolsas, in the City of Anaheim, County ot Orange.
State of California, as said Section is shown on a map
recorded in book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps. in
the office of the County Recorder of said County, des-
cribed as follows:

quarter of the Northeast quarter of said section; thence
north 00 04' 20" east ll47.46 feet along the west line
of said Southeast Quarter of the Northeast quatter to a
point which is 190.10 feet southerly thereon from the
northwest corner of said Southeast quarter of the North-
east quarter; thence north 890 50t )0. east 948.08 feet;
thence south 191.7) feet parallel with the east line of
said Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter; thence
north 890 50' )0. east 374.85 feet to a point on the
east line of said SectiOn 20, which is distant thereon
)89.75 feet south of the Northeast corner of the South-
east quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said. section;
thence south 280.00 feet along said east line to the

northeast corner of the east 6 acres of the Southeast
quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Uortheast quar-
ter of said section; thence westerly 390.J2 feet along
the north line of said 6 acre parcel of land to the
northwest corner of said 6 acres; thence south 669.46
feet along the west line of said. 6 acres to the south-
west corner of said 6 acres; thence south 890 Jst 00"
west 934.08 feet along the south line of the Southeast
quarter of the Northeast quarter of said. Section 20 to
the point of beginning.
EXCEPT THE westerly 608.26 feet, measured along the
northerly line thereof,
remain in the R-A, Residential-Agricultural Zone in which it is now incorporated,
and that the reclassification to R-J, Multiple-Family Residential Zone, be
denied as recommended by the City Planning Commission.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this l7th
day of March, 1959.
