RESOLUTION NO. 5090
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM Il1!JJ:ITING THE REQ.UEST OF RUSS BOOlUfi FOR
A SPECIAL USE FJilBMIT TO ENLABGE A TRAILER P.ARX
AT THE LOCATION HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the 'City of Anaheim did
receive a request for a Special Use Permit from the owner and/or purchaser
of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, Oounty of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
The west 300.07 feet of the Southwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section
26 Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M.,
EXCEPTING therefrom the east 300 feet of the south
190 feet.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing
at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said request on February 16,
1959, notices of which said public hearing were duly given as required by
law and the provisions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
~~g, said Commission, after d.ue inspection, investigation and
studies made by itself and. in its behalf and after due consideration of all
evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. 166.

set forth; - -
AND ~W.A~, thereafter, within twenty days from the date of the
adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council
of the City of Anaheim protesting the action of the City Planning Commission
granting said Special Use Permit. and said appeal was set for public hearing
on March 17, 1959 at 7:00 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim,
and notice of such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the
provisions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Cod.e; and
WFWoRW.A~, at the time and. place fixed for said public hearing the
City Council did duly hold. and conduct such hearing and did give all persons
interested therein an opportunity to be heard and. did receive evidence and
reports; and
~~A~ the City Oouncil does find that:
1. There is no substantial property right
possessed by other property in the same
vicinity and zone and denied the subject
property.
2. It appears that the subject property can
be adequately developed and used under the
present zone.

NOW, THEIiEFOD, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Oouncil of the City of
Anaheim that the action of the City Flanni11€: Commission granting Special Use
Permit No.2; to Russ Boorey, 13431 Simmons, Anaheim, California, to enlarge
and extend the present Orangewood Trailer Park located at 11401 Santa .Al:la
Freeway, Anaheim, California, to the west on the property hereinabove des-
cribed, be and the same is hereby disapproved, and that Special Use Permit
No. 25 be and the same is hereby d.enied.
