A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CORRECTING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION
OF THE BOUNDARIES OF KATELl.A PARK ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the 16th day of
February, 1959, the City Council did receive a request from
the proponents of the Katella Park Annexation for consent to
start proceedings for the annexation of the property described
in said request to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did thereupon refer the
matter to the City Planning Commission for a recommendation
and report and said City Planning Commission did thereafter
make its report recommending the granting of consent to com-
mence proceedings for the annexation of said territory to the
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of February, 1959, said pro-
ponents did publish in the Anaheim Gazette a notice of intention
to circulate a petition relating to the annexation of territory
to the City of Anaheim, a municipal corporation, containing a
description of the boundaries of said proposed territory as set
forth in the request for consent to commence such annexation
proceedings; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt Resolution No.
5056 acknowledging receipt of a copy of the notice of intention
to circulate a petition relating to the annexation of territory
to the City of Anaheim and an affidavit of publication thereof
and approving the circulation of said petition; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that there is a typographical error in the description of the
boundaries of said proposed annexation as contained in the
request to commence said annexation proceedings and the report
and recommendation of the Planning Commission and the resolution
consenting to the circulation of said petition, and that said
description should be corrected to read as hereinafter set
forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the description of the boundaries of
the proposed Katella Park Annexation of territory to the City
of Anaheim be corrected to read as follows:

KATELLA PARK ANNEXATION
A parcel of land being a portion of Sections 19 and 30 of
Township 4 South, Range 10 W~st, S. B. B. & M., described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing Anaheim City
limits line as established by the Midwood Manor Annexation to the City
of Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No. 1164 on August 13, 1957, and filed
with the Secretary of State, September 16, 1957, said point being
40 feet west of the east line and 30 feet south of the north line
of said Section 30, said point also being in the Garden Grove
City limits line; thence,
1. Westerly along said Garden Grove City limits line to
the point of intersection with the southerly prolongation of the east
line of Tract No. 2111 as shown on a map in Book 61, Pages 46, 47,
and 48 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of
Orange County, State of California; thence,
2. Northerly along said southerly prolongation and east line
of said Tract No. 2111 to the point of intersection with the south
st of the
I ine of the Nt of the/SE* of said Section 19; thence,
3. Easterly along the last mentioned south line to the
point of intersection with the existing City limits line of the City
of Anaheim; thence,
4. Southerly along the last mentioned City limits line to the
point of beginning.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said proponents be,
and they are hereby, directed to republish the notice of in-
tention to circulate a petition relating to said annexation
of territory to the City of Anaheim, containing said description
as hereby corrected, in the event they wish to proceed further
with said annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said request for consent
to commence said annexation proceedings with the corrected de-
scription be again referred to the City Planning Commission for
a recommendation and report.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of March, 1959.
