A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
and convey the same Er the e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
of Anaheim that the offer of EDWIN DURST, dealing
sole and separate property,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following d escribed rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of the East half of the fractional
Northwest quarter of Section 3, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as per Map
recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of that portion of the
East half of said Northwest quarter of said Section 3, as
shown on a Map filed in Book 5, page 9 of Record of Surveys
in the office of the County Recorder of said County; thence
South 00° 23' 25" East along the centerline of Lemon Street,
a distance of 253.00 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence continuing South 00° 23' 25" East along said centerline
of said Lemon Street, a distance of 652.00 feet to an intersection
with the centerline of Durst Street; thence North 89° 42'
00" East along the centerline of said Durst Street a distance
of 59.96 feet; thence North 0° 18' 00" West a distance of
13.00 feet to the beginning of a curve concave Northeasterly
and having a radius of 15.00 feet, a radial line bearing South
0° 18' 00" East passes through the point of beginning of said
curve; thence Westerly and Northerly along said curve through
a central angle of 89° 54' 35" an arc distance of 23.54 feet;
thence North 00° 23' 25" West a distance of 456.40 feet to
the beginning of a tangent curve concave Easterly and having
a radius of 7,455.00 feet; thence Northerly along said curve
through a central angle of 1° 17' 18" an arc distance of 167.63
feet; thence South 89° 42' 00" West a distance of 46.89 feet
to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
