A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF
E. D. JOHNSON CO. TO FURNISH ALL LABOR
AND EQUIPMENT FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTE-
NANCE IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND AUTHOR
IZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH
SAID E. D. JOHNSON CO.
WHEREAS, the. City of Anaheim requested informal
bidding for the maintenance of certain traffic signal equip-
ment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does find that the proposal tendered by E. D. Johnson Co. for
said traffic signal maintenance, including the furnishing of
all labor, services, materials and equipment, is the lowest
responsible proposal submitted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does further find and determine that it would be in the best
intere$ts of the City of Anaheim that said proposal be ac-
cepted, and the contract be awarded to said E. D. Johnson
Co.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of E. D. Johnson Co.
to furnish all tools, equipment, apparatus, facilities, labor,
services and materials, and perform all work necessary to
maintain said traffic signal facilities in the City of Anaheim,
for the sum of $20.00 per intersection, per month, for a
period of five (5) years, in accordance with the terms of said
proposal, and upon the terms and conditions set forth in a
certain form of contract dated August 1, 1966 to be made and
entered into between the parties, be, and the same is hereby
accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute a contract with
said E. D. Johnson Co., in the form dated August 1, 1966,
for the maintenance of said traffic signal facilities.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 26th day of July, 1966.
