A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following escri a rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 4.50 feet, as measured at
right angles to the West line of East Street, of that
portion of Block "C" of Kroeger's Subdivision, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 5, page 34 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said County, described as follows:
Commencing on the Southerly line of said Block "C at a
point 2.50 feet Westerly, measured along said Southerly
line, from the Southeasterly corner thereof; thence North-
erly parallel to the Easterly line of said block, 135 feet
to the true point of beginning; thence Westerly parallel
to the Southerly line of said block, 242 feet; thence
Northerly parallel to the Easterly line of said block 96
and 1 /3rd feet; thence Easterly parallel to the Southerly
line of said block, 242 feet; thence Southerly parallel to
the Easterly line of said block, 96 and 1 /3rd feet to the
true point of beginning.
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to t e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
LEO BAUDINO and BARBARA BAUDINO, husband and wite, and
KENNETH H. DART and GWENDOLYN DART, husband and wife,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 19th day of July 19 66
