FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same 5 City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of PALMALL PROPERTIES, INC.,
a California corporation, and TIC TOC MARKETS, INC., a Delaware
corporation, as Lessee,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road
and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement over the real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of Lot 1, Anaheim Extension, as shown on
a Map of Survey made by William Hamel in 1868 and filed for
record in Los Angeles County, a copy of which is filed in
the office of the County Recorder of Orange County on page 163
et seq of Book 3, entitled Los Angeles County Maps, described
as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Sycamore Street and
East Street, as shown on a Map of Tract 1648, recorded in Book
52, pages 3 and 4 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County; thence North 74 31' 10" East along the centerline of
said Sycamore Street, a distance of 60.08 feet; thence North 15
28' 50" West 30 feet to the beginning of a curve concave North-
easterly and having a radius of 15 feet, a radial line bearing
South 15 28' 50" East passes through the point of beginning of
said curve; thence Westerly and Northerly along said curve
through a central angle of 90 06' 20" an arc distance of 23.59
feet; thence North 15 22' 30" West 189.75 feet tangent to said
curve to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly
and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Northerly and Easterly
along said curve through a central angle of 89 53' 40" an arc
distance of 23.53 feet; thence North 15 28' 50" West 25 feet
to the centerline of Glenwood Street; thence South 74 31' 10"
West along the centerline of said Glenwood Street a distance
of 59.93 feet to the centerline intersection of Glenwood Street
and said East Street; thence South 15 22' 30" East along the
centerline of said East Street a distance of 274.75 feet to
the point of begining.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
