A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM RECOGNIZING LOCAL UNION
NO. 47, INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF
ELECTRICAL WORKERS, AND ESTABLISHING
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT OF
CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, on or about the 21st day of June, 1966, staff
officials of the City of Anaheim and representatives of Local
Union No. 47, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers,
entered into a "Memorandum of Understanding" between the City
and said Union, setting forth certain terms and conditions of
employment of certain City employees; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of said
Memorandum of Understanding, it is provided that if said terms
are satisfactory to the City Council of the City of Anaheim, the
adoption of a resolution by said Council incorporating said terms
may be passed, and further providing that if such resolution is
passed all of the terms and conditions of said Memorandum of
Understanding shall become effective as to the classification of
employees contained therein; and
WHEREAS, upon recommendation of the administrative
staff and reviews of said Memorandum by the City Council, said
City Council finds that the terms and conditions contained there-
in are fair and reasonable and compatible with the best interests
of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it incorporate in full, and it does
hereby incorporate in full, all of the terms and conditions of
employment as set forth in that certain Memorandum of Under-
standing Between the City of Anaheim and Local Union No. 47,
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, A.F.L.- C.I.O.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of July, 1966.
