WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution recommending
denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described, after having fixed a time and place for the holding
of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article IX.
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having duly held and co...
ducted such public hearing to consider said proposed change of lone or zones.
and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested
therein; and
~w.,~, within a period of forty (40) days following the
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal resOM
lution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for
recommending a denial of said proposed change in the boundaries of the lone
or lones hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WlfF.Rlill.~, upon receipt of the report and recommendation ot
the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 17th
day of Febru.ar;r. 19.59 as the time and the Council Chamber in the Cit7 Hall
of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed
change of zone anddid give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHmRlilAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing.
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did
give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did rIM
ceive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WlfF.Rlil'~, the City Council does find and determine that the
propert7 and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it is now
situated to a different zone. as hereinafter set forth, is more suitable
for the zone in which it is now incorporated and that a change of lone
should not be granted;
NOW, 'I'R'lil"R1l1i'ORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ot the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the Cit7
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California. described as follows.
to wit:
Lot 7 in Block "C" of Tract No. 1.58. in the
City of Anaheim, as shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 12, Page 8, Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange Count 7, California.
remain in the R...2, TWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZOO, in which it is now in-
corporated, and that the reclassification to R-J, ~flJLTIPLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL ZONE. be denied as recommended by the City Planning Commission.
