A RESOLU'TION OF' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FIXING THE THE AND PLACE OF PUBLIC
HEARING UPON A PROPOSED NEW COMPREHENSIVE ZON-
ING ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, after due
investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, did deem
it to be for the public interest to pass and adopt a new comprehen-
sive zonin~ ordinance and to repeal all ordinances and parts of
ordinances-in conflict with such proposed new zoning ordinance; and
iTrlEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did initiate
the adoption of a proposed new comprehensive zoning ordinance of the
City of Anaheim and did transmit to the Planning Commission a copy
of the proposed new comprehensive zoning ordinance; and
mlEP~AS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
after holdin,; public hearings on such proposed new comprehensive
zoning ordinance, as required by law, and after due investigation and
studies made by itself and in its behalf, deems it to be for the
public interest that certain cnanges be made in the proposed new
comprehensive zoning ordinance as initiated b;y the City Council; and
WHBREAS, sucn changes are reflected and set forth in the pro-
posed new comprei.lensive zoning ordinance recommended by the Planning
Commission to the City Council for adoption; and
~fFE.;.,:EAS, the Planning Commission of the City of' Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted on the 2nd of February, 1959, recommend
to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that it adopt such a new
comprehensive zoning ordinance, a copy of which ordinance so recom-
mended, together with all maps, plats and diagrams or documents
incorporated by reference and made a part of such ordinance, has
been duly forwarded to the City Council for its consideration; and
WBBREAS, the City Council is required by statute to hold
public hearing upon the advisability of adopting such an ordinance
or make a change in the amendment thereto;

City of Anaheim that the 4th day of MIWOh , 1959. at the
hour of JL-o'clock be fixea-as the time and the City Council Chambers
in the City Hall, 204 East Center street, City of Anaheim, California,
be fixed as the place for the holding of such public hearing and
that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed to cause due
legal notice of such hearing to be published as required by law.
