RESOLUTION NO. 2.Qll "-" A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDII<<l RESOLUTION NO. 4-760 ENTITLED, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING. RESOLUTION NO. 4-675 ENTITLED, 'A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FlNDINl AND DETERMINIl\O THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE CITY, AND THAT ART ICLE IX, CHAP1'ER 2 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE SHOULD BE AMENDED TO ACcx:NPLISH SAID OIANGE OF ZONE~ I" WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Anaheim did heretofore, to wit, on the 5th day of August, 1958, adopt Resolution No. 4-675 in reclassification proceedings No. F-58-59-l, upon application from Harry S. Rinker, Tietz Construction Company, 11900 Gilbert Street, Garden Grove, California, for a change of zone of certain real property described as Revised Tentative Tract No. 2222; and WHEREAS, after the adoption of said Resolution No. 4-675 said tentative tract map was again revised, and due to said revision and the type of development planned for said tract, the applicant for said change of zone requested that the property be changed from R-1 to C-2 and R-3 Zones, rather than to C-l and R-3 Zones, with a portion remaining R-1, as proposed in said Resolution No. 4-675; and WHEREAS, the City Council did find that said last revised map of Tentative Tract No. 2222, dated September 30, 1958, should be approved and that said request for C-2 and R-3 zoning should be granted, and did thereupon, on September 30, 1958, adopt its Resolution No. 4-780 amending Resolution No. 4-675 as follows: "1. That the property described in said resolution, being Tentative Tract No. 2222, revised as above set forth, be changed from R-1, Single-Family Residential Zone, to the following zones: ~. That Lot 1 be changed to C-2, GENERAL COMMERC IAL ZONE; and That Lots 2 to 48, both inclusive, be changed to R-3, MULTIPLE-FAMILY RES IDENTIAL ZONE. "2. That all buildings erected on Lots 24, 25, 26, 39, 4-0, 4-1 and 4-8 be limited to one story in height;" AND WHEREAS, the City Council does find that said tentative map of Tract No. 2222 has again been revised, and that certain of the lots contained therein ha.. been renumbered, and that as a result of said revision Resolution No. 4780, adopted by the City Council on September 30, 1958, should be amended as follows: -1- F-58-59-l ,,,,~ That Tentative Tract No. 2222, revised as above set forth, be changed from R-l, SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTiAL ZONE, to the following ~ones: That Lot 1 be changed to C-2, GENERAL COMMERCiAL ZONE; and That Lots 2 to 46, both inclusive, be changed to R-3, MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE; and that all buildings erected on Lots 24, 25, 38, 39 and 46 be limited to one story in height; AND WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that an ordinance has never been adopted directing said change of zones and completing said proceedings; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counc i1 of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 4780, adopted September 30, 1958, be amended as follows: 1. That Tentative Tract No. 2222, revised as above set forth, be Changed from R-1, SINGLE- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, to the following zones: That Lot 1 be changed to C-2, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE; and That Lots 2 to 46, both inclusive, be changed to R-3, MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTLAt ZONE. 2. That all buildings erected on Lots 24, 25, 38, 39 and 46 be limited to one story in height. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects said Resolution No. 4780 be and remain in full force and effect. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish the object herein found and determined to be neces- sary and proper.
