RESOLUTION ADQPTlOO SPECIFICA.TIONS FOR CAST
IRON PIPE. SERIES OF 1959, CITY OF AN.AHEIM
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that those certain specifications prepared by the Super-
intendent of Light, Power and Water entitled "Specifications for
Cast Iron Water Pipe, Series of 1959, City of Anaheim", on file
with the City Clerk, be and the same are hereby approved and
adopted.
THE FOaEGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 20th day of January, 1959.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR CAST IRON WA TER PIPE,
SERIES OF 1959, CITY OF ANAHEIM

All Cast Iron Pipe 10" and smaller shall be class 250
for 250 pounds maximum working pressure.
12" Cast Iron Pipe shall be class 200 for 200 pounds
maximum wrking pressure as in accordance with Federal
Specifications W W - P-421A.
All pipe to be furnished with half thickness cement
lining as specified under Federal Specitications W W P-421A.
Joints shall be of a Bell and Spigot type but so made
that they may be effectively sealed with a single rubber
gasket. All necessary gaskets and lubricants to be
furniabed.~th the .pipe at no additional cost.
Fittings:
A.S.A. Specification number 21.10 or Los Angeles short
pattern tittings, Class "D", cement lined, shall be
considered as complying with these specifications if
they otherwise conform to the above mentioned specifications.
