DENYING VARIANCE NOo 106:3
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
did receive a petition for zoning variance from DaTid SOn'''". ...... .
Mrs. Ruby Cook,owners of certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as followsz
Lot 49. Tract 1620
Lot 50, Tract 1620
(Said properties are located at 956 & 957 Jlore Street.)
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission
hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
19 58 , notices of which said public hearing were
quired by law and the provIsIons of Section 9200017

did hold a public

WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission9 after due inspection,
investigation and studIes made by itself and in its behalf, and after
due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
did adopt Resolution No. 123 Series 19 58-'5Q den'lT'l:nf'

WHEREAS, thereafter. within twenty (20) days from the date of
the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the
City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the action of the City
Planning Commission d~~ said variance, and said appeal was
set for public hearing on tallnA,.:V 20 , 19 59 , at 7g00
o'clock P.Mo at the City Ha I in the City of Anaheim, and notice of
such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provi-
sions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and
WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by itself
and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and
reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find and de-
termine tha t ~

1. There is no substantial property right possessed by
other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied
the subject propertyo
2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately
developed and used under the present zone.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission
denying Variance 50. 1063 requesting permission to operate business and professional
offices on the properties hereinabove described, be. and the same is hereby, sus-
tained, and that Variance No. 1063 be. and the same is hereby. denied.
