FOR A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO ES'l'.A:BLISH A TRAILER PARK ON THE PROPER!I!f HEREI5- AFTER DESCRIBED. ~~A~, the City Planning CommisSion of the Ci~y of Anaheill. did receive an application from Xenger Properties. Inc., 977 las~ Colorado Street, Pasadena, California. to establish a trailer park, with recreation building, swimming pool. play area and utility building. on the property located at 304 West Katella Avenue, Anaheim, California; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Ball in the City of Anaheim upon said request on Dec8lllber 15, 1958, notices of which said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection. inves~i- gation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consider- ation of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. 130, Series 1958-59, granting Special Use Permit No. 1 upon the conditions therein set forth; and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council did elect. upon its own motion, to review the action of the City Planning Commission in granting said Special Use Permit and did thereupon fix the 20th day of January, 1959 as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Ball of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said Special Use Permit and notice of such pub1ic hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time end place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS. the City Council does find that: 1. There is no substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied the subject property. 2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately developed and used under the present zone. .- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission grant- ing Special Use Permit 50. 1 to Xenger Properties. Inc., 977 East Colorado Street. Pasadena. California to establish a trailer park with recreation building, swimming pool, play area ead utility buildings on the property located at 304 West Kate11a Avenue, Anaheim. California, and more par- ticularly described in the application for said Special Use Permit. be. and the same is hereby disapproved. and that said Special Use Permit be, and the same is hereby denied. -1- ,-- !.HE FOREGOING RESOLUTION failed to carry by the required majority vote of the members of the City Council.
