RESOLUTION NOo 4985
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD A~D PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim 1s
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes ; and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said pr()perty ha ve offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and ---
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counoil of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of HARRY SHAM and LILLIAN SHAM.
husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following desoribed real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, to be used for an easement for road and pllbl1 c uti Ii ty pllrp~.s
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the parcel of land described as follows:
The Westerly 53.00 feet (as measured to the center line
of Euclid Avenue) of the Northwest quarter of the South-
west quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 16,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and
Meridian,
Excepting therefrom the Northerly 190.00 feet,

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim acoept a oonveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be~ and he is her'eby, authorized to pay to the owners of
said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar ($1000)0
