RESOLUTION NO. 4968

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
3064 RELATING TO A CHANGE OF ZONE IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
did heretofore, to wit, on the lOth day of January, 1956,
adopt Resolution No. 3064 in reclassification proceedings
No. F-55-56-14, upon application from H. W. Warden and M. A.
Sharkey for a change of zo~e of certain real property
described in said application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the description
of the property contained in said resolution should be amended
to exclude that portion of said property lying easterly of the
Union Pacific Railroad, presently classified M-l, Light Manu-
facturing zone; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that an
ordinance has never been adopted directing said change of zone
and completing said proceeding;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 3064, adopted January
10, 1956, be amended as follows:
That the description of the real property set forth
in said resolution be changed to read as follows:
All that certain land situated in the State of
California, County of Orange, City of Anaheim,
described as follows:
The Easterly rectangular one-half of Vineyard Lot
"B2", as shown on a Map of Anaheim recorded in Book
4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles
County, California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Union Pacific Railroad right-
of-way running through the property, more particularly
described as follows: A strip of land, 60 feet in
width, the center line of which is described as
follows: Be~inning at a point on the Southerly line
of said Lot B2", distant thereon South 74- 39' West
179.04 feet from the southeasterly corner of said
Lot "B2", said point of beginning also being a point
on a circular curve from which point the center bears
North 80. 03' East 4583.75 reet; thence Northerly along
said curve a distance of 352.00 feet; thence tangent to
said curve North 5- 33' West, a distance of 279.83 feet
to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Westerly
and having a radius of 1809.57 feet; thence Northerly
along said curve a distance of 168.17 teet to a point
in the Northerly line of said Lot "B2", distant thereon
South 74- 41' 40" West 65.36 feet from t~e Northeasterly
corner of said Lot "B2". The side lines of said 60-root
strip of land to be prolonged or shortened so as to
terminate in the Northerly and Southerly lines of said
Lot "B2".
ALSO EXCEPTING that portion of said lot lying Easterly
of the Easterly line of that certain strip of land

60 feet in width described and excepted in the deed
to the Union Pacific Railroad Co. recorded February
7, 1955 in Book 2948, page 207 of Official Records.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects said

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be,
and he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit
to the City Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim Municipal Code to
accomplish the object herein found and determined to be necessary
and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 6th day of January, 1959.
