A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF AN
APPLICATION FOR A SAFE DRINKING WATER STATE
REVOLVING FUND LOAN FROM THE CALIFORNIA
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES, DESIGNATING
THE PUBLIC UTILITIES GENERAL MANAGER AS
ANAHEIM'S AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE, AND
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC UTILITIES GENERAL
MANAGER TO EXECUTE AND SUBMIT THE APPLICATION
AND RELATED DOCUMENTS AND TO TAKE ANY AND ALL
ACTIONS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION
PROCESS
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim (Anaheim) wishes to submit
an application to the California Department of Health Services
for a Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan for Anaheim's
Lenain Water Treatment Plant; and
WHEREAS, the California Department of Health Services
requires that an Authorized Representative be designated by
Anaheim to submit the loan application on behalf of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. Submittal of the application by Anaheim to the
California Department of Health Services for a Safe Drinking
Water State Revolving Fund loan for Anaheim's Lenain Water
Treatment Plant is hereby authorized and approved.
2. The Public Utilities General Manager is
designated as Anaheim's Authorized Representative
authorized and empowered, on behalf of Anaheim, to
submit an Application for a California Department
Services Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund
Anaheim's Lenain Water Treatment Plant, to execute
documents, and to take any and all actions which a
