A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM WAIVING NOTICE OF DONATED
SPACE AGREEMENT BY THE COUNTY OF ORANGE OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the County of Orange, Community Services
Agency, Special Programs Division, proposes to enter into a
Donated Space Agreement (rent-free) with the North Orange County
Regional Occupation Center for the purpose of operating the Job
Training Partnership Act Program located at 2360 W. La Palma
Avenue, Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 25351 requires the
County to notify the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, in
writing, at least sixty days prior to entering into such Donated
Space Agreement, unless such notice is waived by resolution of
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the County has requested that the City Council
waive such sixty-day notice requirement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the sixty-day notice required by
Government Code Section 25351 is hereby waived with respect to
the aforementioned Donated Space Agreement.
