RESOLUTION NO. 4425
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE RENTAL OF PROPERTY
TO THE WESLEY METHODIST CHURCH.
WHEREAS. the City of Anaheim is the owner of that
certain property in the City of Anaheim. described as a building
and lot. on the southeast corner of Wilhelmina and Los Angeles
Streets; and
WHEREAS, the building located on such property is a
church building; and
WHEREAS, the property at the present time is not needed
tor City use and will not be needed for City use for a temporary
period of time; and
WHEREAS. the Wesley Methodist Church is desirous of
renting said building on a month-to-month basis at the stipulated
rental of $100 per month;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the property owned by the City of Anaheim
and located on the southeast corner ot Wilhelmina and L08 Angeles
Streets is not presently needed tor municipal purposes, and that
it would be in the best interests of the City ot Anaheim to rent
the building, located on such property, to the Wesley Methodist
Church.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such rental agreement Shall
commence April 1, 1958 and shall require rental to be paid, by
the Wesley Methodist ahurch to the City ot Anaheim, ot $100 per
month, payable in advance on the first day- of each and every month,
and that such rental agreement shall be terminable by either the
City- of Anaheim or the Wesley Methodist Church upon thirty- (30)
day-a' written notice.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of March, 1958.
