A RESOLUTION Of THE CITY COUNCIL Of THE CITY
OF' .ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING .~D DIRECTING THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF ONE-HOUR PARKING SJGNS ON
THE WEST SIDE OF NORTH CLE~AENTINE STREET,
BETWEEN CYPRESS AND CHARTRES STREETS.
WHEREAS, Section 465, Subdivision (b) of the Cali-
fornia Vehicle Code provides that local authorities in their
respective jurisdiction shall have authority to place and
maintain or cause to be placed and maintained such traffic
signs as may be necessary to indicate and to carry out the
provisions of the California Vehicle Code and local traffic
ordinances, or to regulate, warn or guide traffic; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Municipal Code, Section 3213,
provides that the City Council shall, by resolutIon, determine
and designate the character of all official warning and
direction signs and signals; and
WHEREAS, said Anaheim Municipal Code, Section 3273,
provides that no operator of any vehicle shall park or leave
standIng such vehicle for a longer period than one hour be-
tween the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. of any day, except
Sundays and holidays, on any street or any part of any street
wh~h has been defined or designated by the City Council as
a one-hour parking area;
NOW, THEREfORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Superintendent of Streets of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to place and maintain "PARKING LIMIT 1 HOUR 9:00
A.M. TO 6:00 P.M." signs on the west side of North Clementine
Street, between Cypress and Chartres Streets, in the City of
Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the signs so placed
and maintained shall conform to the regulations of the
California Vehicle Code as to size, design and color.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 4th day of March, 1958.
