A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FlijDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofor~ duly passed and adopted a resolution
recommending denial of~a change in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having fixed a
time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in
the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code, and after having duly held and conducted such public hear-
ing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and after
having received evidence and reports from persons interested
therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by for-
mal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and
reasons for recommending denial of said proposed ~hange in the
boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described; and -
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon
fix the l7~1 day of Januarv, 19 67 , as the time and the
Council Cham er in the City Hall of the"CIty of Anaheim as the
place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or
zones and did give nottce thereof in the manner and as provided
in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or
zones in which it is now situated to a different zone, as herein-
after set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which
it is now incorporated and that a change of zone should not be
granted.
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:

Parcell.
That portion of Lot 16 of Anaheim Extension, in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
as shO'i'm on a map of survey made by v~illiam Hamel and
filed in the Office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, California, a copy of which is shown
in Book 3, Page 163, et seq., entitled "Los Angeles
County l>1aps, It records of said Orange County, described
as follmvs:
Beginning at a point on the center line of South Street,
North 740 36' OS" East 111.50 feet from the northwest
corner of the land conveyed by deed recorded
October 28, 1947 in Book 1590, Page 187 of Official
Records, said corner being South 740 36' 05" West
373.10 feet from the intersection of said center line
with the center line of Placentia Avenue, thence
South 150 45' 2511 East 188.75 feet, parallel with the
\'Jest line of said land to the northwesterly line of
the land described in the deed to Hilliam H. Gretel,
et ux., recorded July 3, 1948 in Book 1663, pages 397
and 398 of Official Hecords; thence North 740 36' 050
East to the northeast corner of said land, thence
North 00 05' IS" East 195.84 feet along said center
line of Placentia Avenue to said center line of South
Street, thence South 740 36' 0511 West 261.60 feet to
the point of beginning.
EXCEPT that portion of said land included within
South Street, as shown on said map.
Parcel 2.
That portion of Lot 16 of Anaheim Extension, in the
City of Anaheinl, County of Orange, State of California,
as shown on a map of survey made by William Hamel and
filed in the Office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, California, a copy of which is shown
in Book 3, page 163, et seq., entitled IlLos Angeles
County Haps,1l records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Placentia
Avenue, said point being located 195.84 feet South
00 05' 15" West from the intersection of said center
line by the center line of South Street; running from
said point of beginning South 00 05' 15 ~l ~'lest 73.00
feet to the southeast corner of that certain parcel
of land conveyed by deed, recorded October 28, 1947
in Book 1590, page 187 of Official Records of Orange
County, California; thence South 740 36' aSH Hest
299.70 feet to the southwest corner of said parcel;
thence North 150 45' 25" West 70.34 feet along the
v~est line of said parcel; thence North 740 36' OS!!
East 308.76 feet to the point of beginning.
Said land is shmvn on a map filed in Book 20, Page 28
of Record of Surveys, in the Office of the County
Recorder of said Orange County.
