A RESOLU'I'ION OF THE CITY COUlfCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FIXING RATES FOR GENERAL
WATER SERVICE FURNISHED TO CONSDlRS .AIlD
I:N1iABITANTS OF 'I'm: CITY Or AJlABEIM.
WHEREAS, Article 14, Section 1 of the Oonst1tut1,n
of the State of Oalifornia provides that each City shall
in February of each year establish the rates for compensa-
tion to be collected by any person, company or'corporation
for the use of water supplied to inhabitants thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following
rules and regulations for water furnished and services
rendered by any person, COmpany or corporation to consumers
and inhab1tants of the City of Anaheim are hereby established
as follows, to wit:
1. Meters and Service Connections.
All water served any consumer or inhabitant of
the City shall be metered and service connections to the
property 11ne and meters shall be installed free of charge.
2. Rates.
The rat.. to be charged for euoh water service
shall be the .ame as the rates charged by the Public Serviae
Department of the Oity of Anaheim for similar services;
provided, however, that the City Council may, by resolution,
e.tablish other and different rates as from time to time it
may deem necessary in the best interests of the public and
for the general welfare.
3. Effective Date.
This Resolution shall be effective for one year
comaenoing July 1, 1958.
