A RESOLU1'ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE
OF zotfE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE CITY,
AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE SHOULD BE AMENDED TO ACCOMPLISH
SAID CHANGE OF ZONE.
WHEREAS, the 'City Pl.nnlng Commls.lon ot the City ot Ana-

west quarter of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as the
Northweat quarter of .aid section is indicated on a map filed
in Book 1, Pag. 56 of Record of Surveys, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County.

be changed from R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE to R-3, MULTIPLE-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That the owner of subject property place of record
standard City of Anaheim R-3 Deed Restrictions,
approved by the City Attorney, which restrictions
shall limit the height of the buildings to be
erected on subject property to not exceeding two
stories.
2. That the owner of subject property deed to the City
of Anaheim a strip of land 32 feet in width from
the center line of the street, along Loara Street,
for street widening purposes.

3. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street
grading and paving, drainage facilities or other
pertinent work be complied with as required by the
City Engineer.
4. That detailed plans for the development of subject
property,~owing the type of buildings, street
pattern, etc. be submitted to the City Council and
approved by it before an Ordinance changing said
zone is adopted.
5. Said change of zone shall not become effective unless
within sixty days, or such further time as the Council
may grant, the restrictions hereIn required to be

imposed upon the property shall have been executed by the
owners of the property~ submitted to the City for approval
and riled or reoord~ nor until deeds for street widening
or utility purposes~ when required~ have been exeouted
and delivered to the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he
is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the
City Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to aaend said Anaheim Munioipal Code to accomplish
the object herein round and determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
