A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FINALLY ACCEPTING THE COKPLETION AND THE
FURNISHING OF ALL PLAIT, LABOR, SERVICES, MA-
TERIALS AND EQ,UIPMENT AliD ALL UTILITIES AND TRANS-
PORTATION INCLUDING POW:tR, FUEL AND WATER, AND
PERFORKING ALL WORK NECtSSARY TO CONSTRUCT AND
COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT, TO WIT:

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim aid

deolare that, pursuant to the provisions of Seotion 1770 of the
Labor Code, the City Counoil of the City of Anaheim had asoertaine"
the prevailing rate of wages for eaoh type of labor needed to exe-
oute said oontraot and did set fortm the prevailing hourly wage
soale so asoertained; and
WHEREAS, on A.\Ipi 1 10th , 19.5.a.-, at the hour of
2:00 o'olook P.M., the C1ty Clerk and C1ty Eng1neer of the

City of Anaheim did open said sealed proposals reoeived up to that
time for the furnishing of all plant, labor, servioes, materials
and equipment, and all utilities and transportation, inoluding
power, fuel and water, and performing all work necessary to oon-
struot and oomplete, in a good and workmanlike manner, in striot
aooordance with the specifioations, plans and drawings therefor
on file in the Offioe of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim,
the public improvement hereinabove more partioularly described and
set forth, in public. in the City Council Chamber in the City Hall,
Anaheim, California, and the City Engineer did tabulate the result
of said sealed proposals and did make a report to the City Council
at its next adiourned regular meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, at
its next adioupned regular meeting, held on the l~th day
of Appil . 19..slL. at the hour of 7:00 o'clock P.M.,
consider the sealed proposals submitted for furnishing the materi-
als and performing the work hereinabove more particular11 described
and set forth, and did thereupon find and determine that the sealed
proposal submitted by R. J. NOBLE cm1PAl~L, P. O. Box h20

for the construction, installation and completion of said

hereinabove mentioned and described, was the lowest responsible
proposal submitted therefor, and thereupon aocepted said bid and
did award a contraot to said R. J. NOBLE COl{PAI'.'Y

for furnishing all plaht. labor. services, materials and equipment
and all utilities and transportation, including power, fuel and
water, and performing all work necessary to construct and complete,
in a good and workmanlike manner, in strict accordance with the
specifications, plans. and drawings. the said pUblic improvement as
speoified in said notioe inviting sealed proposals, and did author-
ize the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim to execute
a contract for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim with

which said contract was duly made and entered into on the J7th
day of Apri 1 . 19 SS ; and
WHEREAS, the said R. J. NOBLE CQIvTPANY
has furnished all
plant, labor, services, materials and equipment and all utilities
and transportation, and performed all work necessary for the con-
struction and oompletion, in a good and workmanlike manner, in
striot acoordanoe with the specifications, plans, drawings, of said
pUblic improvement as specified in the notice inviting sealed pro-
posals and in the detail, design, plans, profiles, drawings and

plans and specifications and the contract documents duly made and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said contractor has
completed said pUblic improvement hereinabove more particularly de-
scribed in accordance with the provisions of the contraot and the
contract documents, and that notice of completion should be filed
aDd payment of the balance due said contractor authorized in accord-
ance with the contract documents.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED th'3tsaid public improvement
shall be constructed in accordance with said detailed ~~,
plans, profiles, drawings and specifioations as prepared by
