If any o~ the above mentioned holidays, otiler than Labor Day and Thanks- SivinS Day, falls on Sunday, the Monday following shall be con- sidered a le1a1 holiday. The overtime rule establishing the rates of overtime and holiday Hark s:wll be in accordance with the following: ':.'here a single shift is worked, eight hours of continuous employ- ment, except for lunch periods, shall constitute a day's work beginning on Monday and continuing through Friday each week. Where work is required in excess or eight hours in anyone day or durin" the interval of time from 5:00 P.H. Friday and 12:00 0' clock midnif;ht Saturday night, such work shall be paid for at the minimum rate of one and one-half (I}) times the basic rate of wages, and on Sundays and holidays such work shall be paid for at the minimum rate of double tne basic rate of wages, except as otnerwise provided in the May, 195e revision of the A.G.G., B.G.A., H.B.I., E.G.C.A.,A.?L.-C.I.O. Southern California Master Labor Agreement and bupolements. Properly indentured apprentices to any of the trades listed above may be employed upon such p11blic improvements with skilled Horkmen, subject to the provisions of Section 1777.5 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the wage rates for such apprentices to be determined as provided in said Section 1777.5.
