A RESOLur ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIIT
OF ANAHEIM RESCINDING RESOLUTION 00. 4514
ENTITLED, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CIIT OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTEN-
T ION TO MAKE CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS UNDER THE
AU'lliOR lIT OF THE IMPROVEMENT ACT OF 1911,
DECLAR 100 THE IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE, NAMING
THE STREETS UPON WHICH THE IMPROVEMENTS ARE
TO BE MADE, CREATING AN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT,
DECLARING ITS ELECTION TO PURCHASE THE TOTAL
AMOUNT OF THE ASSESSMENTS, AND DECLARIrn THAT
THE PUBLIC INTEREST W ILL BEST BE SERVED BY
NOT ALLOWING THE PROPERTY OWNERS TO TAKE THE
CONTRACT."
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on the 13th day
of May, 1958, adopt Resolution No. 4514 entitled, "A
RESOLUT ION OF THE CIIT COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DECLARIrn ITS INTENrION TO MAKE CERTAIN IMPROVEMENrS UNDER
THE AUTHORITY OF THE IMPROVEMENT Acr OF 1911, DECLARING
THE IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE, NAMING THE STREETS UPON WHICH
THE IMPROVEMENTS ARE TO BE MADE, CREAT ING AN ASSESSMENT
DISTRIcr, DECLARING ITS ELEcrION TO PURCHASE THE TOfAL
AMOUNT" OF THE ASSESSMENTS, AND DECLARING THAT THE PUBLIC
INTEREST WILL BEST BE SERVED BY NOT ALLOWING THE PROPERTY
OWNERS TO TAKE THE CONrRAcr"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that it is not for the best interest of the Citym proceed
with the formation of said Lighting District, as provided
in Resolution No. 4514, and that said resolution should be
rescinded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 4514, adopted by
the City Council on the 13th day of May, 1958, be, and the
same is hereby rescinded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 3rd day of June, 1958. ,/'
