RESOLUTION NO. 4552
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING THE CHARGES FOR THE
PURCHASE AND PLANTING OF TREES WITHIN NEW
SUBDIVISIONS IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Municipal Code provides that the
City Council shall establish, from time to time by resolution,
the charges to be paid by subdividers in new subdivisions for
the purchase and planting of street trees therein; and
WHEREAS, after due study and investigation, the City
Council has determined the necessary and proper charges to be
made for this purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that in new subdivisions the subdivider shall
pay to the City of Anaheim, at the time of the acceptance by the
City of a subdivision map, a fee of Ten Dollars ($10) per lot to
be used by the City to help defray the cost of acquiring, plant-
ing, and maintaining street trees within the said subdivision.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 27th day of May, 1958.
