A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT TO BE HADE AND
RNTERED INTO WITH THE OPTIMIST CLUB
OF ANARE 1M FOR THE USE OF TilE CLUB
HOUSE AT 113 WEST CHARTRES STREET BY
THE PARK AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Anahe im Optimist Club, Inc. is the
owner of a clubhouse located at 113 West Chartres Street,
Anaheim, California; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires the use of
said clubhouse in the recreation program of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Optimist Club, Inc. is willing
to grant to the City of Anaheim the use of said clubhouse
for its said recreation program for an indefinite period,
upon the terms and conditions set forth in that certain
agreement dated June 4, 1958, to be made and entered into
as of June 4, 1958 by and between the Anaheim Optimist
Club, Inc., as Party of the First Part. and City of
Anaheim, as Party of the Second Part, and this day submitted
to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the tenns and conditions of said agreement for the
use of said clubhouse are acceptable to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that that certain agreement dated
June 4, 1948, and this day submitted to the City Council,
to be made and entered into as of June 4, 1948 by and be-
tween the Anaheim Optimist Club, Inc. and the City of
Anaheim, for the use of the clubhouse owned by said Optimist
Club at 113 West Chartres Street, Anaheim, by the City,
upon the terms and conditions set forth in said agreement,
be and the same is hereby approved.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Oity
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute said
agreemen t for and on behalf of the City of Anahe im.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 22nd day of April, 1958.
