RESOLUTION NO. 4460
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT TO BE MADE AND
ENTERED INTO WITH SOUTHERN COUNTIES GAS COMPANY
OF CALIF'ORNIA FOR A LICENSE TO CONSTRUCT, MAIN-
TAIN, USE AND OPERATE AN ELECTRIC LINE IN, ON,
UNDER AND OVER CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY
SOUTHERN COUNTIES GAS COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the Southern Counties Gas Company of California,
a corporation has tendered to the City of Anaheim an agreement,
dated April 15, 1958, granting to the City of Anaheim, subject to
the reservations, covenants and conditions therein contained, a
license to construct, maintain, use, operate, repair, replace
and/or remove an electric line consisting of one pole line, poles
not to exceed 45 feet in height, necessary guys and anchors, cross-
arms, wires, braces, cables and other fixtures, referred to in
said agreement in whole or in part as "structures," for conveying
electric energy to be used for light, neat, power, communication
and/or other purposes, in, on, under and over the real property in
the County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The Westerly 5.00 feet of the East half (Ei)
of the Northeast Quarter (NE~) of the North-
east Quarter (NEt) of Section 26, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, in the County of Orange,
State of California, as said Section is shown
on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 10, of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Northerly 30.00 feet
thereof.
All poles placed in the above described strip
of land shall be within the westerly 2.50 feet
of said strip of land.
AND WHEREAS, said Licensor has tendered to the City of
Anaheim the agreement above mentioned to be executed by the City
of Anaheim, as Licensee, which agreement the City Council finds
would be for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
and should be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement dated the 15th day of April,
1958, this day submitted to the City Council, to be made and
entered into by the Southern Counties Gas Company of California,
as Licensor, and the City of Anaheim, as Licensee, granting to the
City of Anaheim, but subject to the reservations, covenants and
conditions therein contained, a license to construct, maintain,
use, operate, repair, replace and/or remove an electric line con-
sisting of one pole line, poles not to exceed 45 feet in height,
necessary guys and anchors, cross-arms, wires, braces, cables and
other fixtures, referred to in said agreement in whole or in part
as "structures," for conveying electric energy to be used for
light, heat, power, communication and/or other purposes, in, on,
under and over the real property hereinabove described, be, and the
same is hereby, approved and accepted.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 15th day of April, 1958.
