A RESOLUTION Of THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4388 RELAT-
ING TO A CHANGE OF ZONE IN A CERTAIN AREA OF
THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
did heretofore, to wit, on the 4th day of March, 1958, adopt
Resolution No. ~.388 in reclassification proceeding No.
F-57-58-35, finding and determining that the property de-
scribed in said resolution should be changed from the classifi-
cation of R-A, Residential-Agricultural Zone, to C-1, Neighbor-
hood-Commercial Zone, as more particularly set forth in said
resolution; and
WHEREAS, the applicant in said reclassification has
now requested that only a portion of the property described
in said Resolution No. 4388 be changed to a different zone at
this time, and that revised layout plans for the development
of said property be accepted by the City, and has further
requested that Condition No.2 of City of Anaheim standard
C-1 Deed Restrictions, which the applicant or owner of the
property is required to place of record, be eliminated; and
'NHEREAS, the City Counc 11 do e s find that the r e-
quests of the applicant above set forth should be granted
and that Resolution No. 4388 should, therefore, be amended;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that
an ordinance has never been adopted directing said change
of zone and completing said proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 4388, adopted
March 4, 1958, be amended as follows:
1. That the description of the real property mentioned
in said resolution be changed to read as follows:
"All that certain land situated inilie State of
California, County of Orange, City of Anaheim,
described as follows:
'7hat portion of the Northwest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of Section Seventeen, Township
4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M., described
as follows:
--
"Beg inning at a point in the center 1 ine of
Brookhurst Street, said point being North
00 401 06" East 124.31 feet from the Southwest
corner of said Northwest quarter of the South-
west quarter; thence North 890 581 11" East
along a line parallel with the South line of
said Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter
300 feet; thence North 00 401 06" East parallel
with said center line of Brookhurst Street 200
feet to the South line of Tract No. 2537, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 75, Pages 38
and 39 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California; thence South 890 581 11"
West along extended South line of said Tract No.
2537 to a point in said center line of Brook-
hurst Street; thence South 00 401 06" West along

said center line 200 feet to the point of
beginning. I!
r--. 2. That Condition No. 1 in Resolution No. ~-3 88 be
corrected to read as fo 11 ows :
"That subject property be developed in accord-
ance with revised layout plans presented to the
City Council and on file with the City.1!
3. That .Condition No.2 of said resolution be
amended to read:
IIThat the owner of subject property place of
record standard City of Anaheim C-l Deed Re-
strictions, from which shall be eliminated
Condition No.2, and which restric~ions shall
limit the uses of the property to professional
businesses.1!
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects
said Resolution No. 4388 be, and remain, in full force and
effect.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney
be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and
submit to the City Council an amendment to Article IX,
Chapter-Z ortneAnahe rm Munic ipal Code to amend said Ana-
heim Municipal Code to accomplish the object herein found
and determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me thi s 8th day of April. 1958.
